Exactly what you want in a budget jacket. Only issue was hood strings are missing toggles. Need to either buy or make some. (Like two holes in a stick of wood, shouldn’t be hard and will be decorative). Like most jacket hoods it looks kind of dumb and goes too low over your face, but pulling the draw cords fixes that. Or wear a hat with a brim.Flew to Boston in the winter and got tired of taking a raincoat shell and fleece on and off every time I walked indoors to the blast of heat so bought this to wear over a t shirt. Plenty warm I thought. Runs large, is NOT slim fit and neither am I, so if you don’t need to wear layers underneath you can size down, strangely. (The 3x was very comfy, but the wife said I looked like a kid in his dad’s coat, so sized down to a 2x, which was snug, but not tight, could still move around fine and the wife said I looked like an adult so that’s a win lol)The hand warming pockets are high but I found them very comfortable once I actually started walking around in them. Like a warm T. Rex. The bottom pockets open from the top so you can jam your hands in if you prefer.Bulky as expected for a budget coat (no expensive sporty packable down here) but not overly so, and the fabric isn’t too rustly or crinkly, feels good inside the hand warmer pockets. Not 100% waterproof, but it’s a nice tight weave, and i only plan on bringing it out when it’s too cold to rain.Really enjoy the double zipper in the front as a bigger guy. If I’m having to bend down to work on something like putting air in tires I can unzip the collar for more neck room and from the bottom for more waist flexing room at the same time .The arms are pretty roomy. I have bulky arms and jackets that fit my waist an look smart usually don’t fit my arms, but this fit fine. The 2x was snug in the arms but not tight, I still had range of motion

Der Parka zeigt sich gut verarbeitet. Alle Nähte sind schön gerade und sauber.Der Reißverschluss verfügt über 2 Zipper. Ein Zipper wird dazu benutzt um den Parka zu Schließen und der 2 Zipper dann um ihn bei Bedarf von unten ein wenig zu Öffnen. So muss man zum Beispiel nicht den Ganzen Parka öffnen wenn man an seine Geldbörse in der Hosentasche muss.Das Innenmaterial ist ein wenig dünner und weicher als die Außenseite. Die Innenseite ist gesteppt und die Füllung scheint zwar ein wenig dünn zu sein, hält aber gut warm.Auf der Innenseite gibt es nur eine Innentasche. Die hat zwar eine gute Größe, wird aber nur mit einem Klettverschluss verschlossen.Die beiden sehr großen Außentaschen werden mit jeweils 2 Druckknöpfen verschlossen. Das ist völlig ausreichend.Die Kapuze hat eine breite Kordel und lässt sich bei starkem Wind gut Anpassen.Eine Kordel am Bund wäre hier auch noch gut gewesen.Bild 4 zeigt die Innenseite eines Ärmel. Hier sind dehnbare Bunde eingearbeitet die gut verhindern das hier kalte Luft eindringen kann.Optisch ist der Parke schlicht und einfach gehalten und passt damit zu jedem Anlass.Man bekommt hier für sein Geld einen soliden und ordentlichen Parka.Für den Preis ist er empfehlenswert.

This is a great parka jacket and they were very much speaking the truth saying it’s oversized, so if ordering, keep that in mind! For me, I’m in that unfortunate space of in between 2 sizes but I went for the larger anyway – that was a mistake, definitely should have gone down.Otherwise, the jacket is great, it’s really cosy inside being decently thick and well made, it’s also long which I really appreciate, given we’re already getting snow and sub zero temps here in Scotland, this has been fantastic for my daily walk to see the parents, I’m really appreciating it.One minor thing is I don’t know why but the zip seems to be on the opposite side than every other zip I’ve ever used – why this is, I have no idea, took a minute to get used to it.
